NAPA AUTO PARTS and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) have named William Csogi of Naples Florida the 2006 NAPA/ASE Technician of the Year for the Tampa District. Presented annually by NAPA AUTO PARTS and ASE, the award is given to a technician that exemplifies excellence and achievement in the industry. This winner is selected by a panel that includes former winners, automotive trade media and ASE Headquarters. Csogi, owner of Anchor Rode Automotive in Naples Florida, has 20 years experience. He began pumping gas while attending automotive engineering school in 1986 at the age of 16 and then realized a lifelong dream of owning a repair business in 1999. Csogi leased three bays at a gas station making it one of the premiere automotive repair shops in Naples Florida 6 years later. Csogi is known for his customer service and great attention. "Our customers mean a lot to us so we treat them like family." Csogi also owns Car Critic an Naples based automotive appraisal investigation and inspection company providing expert witness services. "This award is humbling there are a lot of other well deserving automotive technicians in south Florida." said Csogi, who is a recertified Master ASE technician. He also has numerous dealer/manufacture certifications to his credit. His 20 years in the automotive industry is a life long commitment to his customers. Annually Csogi spends hours attending seminars and classes updating his knowledge in the always changing automotive field. His community service includes coaching the local soccer team his company sponsors and being a leader for cub scout pack 165.
